Managing Your Money ✿
Step 1:
Get some money!

Step 2:
Save as much money as you can.

Step 3:
One you have enough ask your parents if they will open a savings account for you. You could also ask them to get you a *SpendSmart card and give them your money for them to put onto it. This eliminates the temptation of spending it!

Step 4:
If you aren't old enough to get a job, do jobs around the house or in your neighborhood. You could also have a yard sale and sell all the stuff you don't want anymore or work up a deal with your parents to give you money when you get good grades!

Step 5:
Start saving now!

Step 6:
Keep an organized analysis pad (found at office supply stores) or just a regular piece of paper, a calculator, a paper clip, and three pens - one red, one blue, and one black. Monitor ALL the money the money that moves in and out of your account, money jar, or piggy bank. Keep every receipt with the paper clip. Update it every time you spend or receive money.

Make Your Skin Look Perfect

Make Your Skin Look Perfect
Tool Kit: You can use simliar items for this, but these are probably the best.
~ Liquid Foundation: Revlon Nearly Naked Makeup, $10 at drugstores
~ Translucent Powder: NYX Cosmetics HD Studio Finishing Power, $10 at nyxcosmetics.com
~ Brush: Sonia Kashuk Angled Foundation Brush from the Brush Couture Brush Set (anything simliar would work), usually $15 in a five-piece brush set at Target or Walmart
~ Blending Sponage: Beauty blending Cosmestic Sponge, $20 at Sephora sites

Liquid Foundation: Which ones right for you?
~ Oily Skin: try an acne fighter; Neutrogena SkinClearing Oil Free Liquid Makeup with MicroClear, $12 at drugstores
~ Blotchy Skin: try a color perfector; L'Oreal Paris True Match, $13 at drugstores
~ Sensitive Skin: Try a bb cream; Tarte BB Tinted Treatment 12 Hour Primer, $31 at Sephora stores

How to:
1. Apply: Use foundation brush to all the base to go on smoothly. Dot foundation on your nose, forehead, and chin. Brush outward.

2. Blend: Avoid cakey psots by gently pressing and rotating a clean sponge where makeup can build up,like areas around your nose. The sponge will soak up extra product.

3. Set: As your temperature warms up,so does your foundtaion, which causes it to streak. Use a fluffy brush to dust translucent powder on your face. It sets the foundation and keeps it in place.

Hope you guys enjoy this tip! See you later loves.

Your Guide to Makeup Expiration Dates

4 months ago - 459 views
Your Guide to Makeup Expiration Dates
Hey Loves, this is my first tip here so I hope you like it!

1. It's not required for a date to be put on makeup by the FDA. But some choose to put them on there anyways. Like food labels, some cosmetics have the month, date, and year printed on the package. Others have a symbol of a jar with an open lid, number, and letter. The open lid means the expiration date applies once the product is opened or the seal is removed. The letter is usually an "M" for month or "Y" for year. So if you see "12 M" on the symbol that means the product will last up to 12 months after it has been opened.

2. Mascara: Shelf life is 2-3 months.
How to tell if it's old: If it looks clumpy or starts to smell weird.
Tip: Stop sharing! This spreads germs and can get your eyes infected. If you do share, use disposable applicators and no double dipping!

3. Lotion: Shelf life is about 2 years.
How to tell its old: A change in color or scent.
Tip: Use bottles with pumps. This keeps the airborne bacteria from getting in and preserves it longer.

4. Liquid Foundation/Concealer: Shelf life is 6-12 months.
How to tell if it's old: If it's separating into layers or the color has lightened.
Tip: Keep it out of sunlight! The UV rays can spoil makeup by destroying the preservatives.

5. Lipstick/Lip gloss: Shelf life for lipstick is 2 years. And shelf life for lip gloss is 1 year.
How to tell if it's old: If the lipstick is dry or your lip gloss has gone sticky, they've gone bad.
Tip: Testing out shades at the makeup counter is fine but NEVER apply directly from the tube. Ask an associate to disinfect it for you and then apply with a disposable applicator.

6. Powder Foundation, Eye Shadow, & Blush: Shelf life is 2 years.
How to tell if it's old: Expired powders tend to be more flaky and dry than new ones.
Tip: Invest in a cosmetic sanitizer and brush shampoo! Cleaning your makeup and tools on a regular basis will help prevent both bacteria growth and breakouts!

7. Fragrances: Shelf life is 8 to 10 years!
How to tell if it's old: Perfumes that are starting to smell different or lighten in color are definitely expired.
Tip: Bright lights make perfumes oxidize faster. Store them in cool, dark places to make them last longer!

8. Nail Polish: Shelf life is 1 to 2 years.
How to tell if it's old: If the polish is extra goopy or has separated into layers and won't blend after a quick shake, it's time to let it go.
Tip: Next time you're in the beauty aisle, grab a nail polish thinner which is a cheap and easy way to increase the longevity of your favorite polish.

I hope you enjoy these short tips and put them to good use. Until next time! Later Loves. xx

How to make: ice cream cone cupcakes :)
Okay, well my friends made these the other day and they were so good! So, I thought maybe y'all would like to know how to make them. :)

Ingredients:
>Store-bought or homemade cake batter of choice
>Ice cream cones
>Frosting of choice
>Sprinkles *optional
-------------------------------------
Steps:
1.) Make the batter for the cupcakes. Use a cake mix or your favorite scratch cake recipe. Prepare the batter as per directions.
2.) Unwrap the ice cream cones slowly, being careful not to damage them as you remove any plastic coverings. Place each empty cone in a muffin tin, one per ungreased muffin cup.
3.)
>Pick up and fill each cone. Replace each cone in its muffin cup.
>Leave a little room at the top for expansion (about 1/2 to 3/4 inch).
>Do not overfill the ice cream cones with batter. An ice cream scoop holds about the right amount and lets you do a neat and trim job of filling. Aim for cupcakes which do not overflow the cones. These will be more attractive and will be easier to frost.
4.) Bake according to cake batter instructions. Bake for the same length of time you would bake regular cupcakes.
5.) Prepare the icing or open up a store-bought icing mixture.
6.) Remove the cupcakes from the oven and allow them to cool.
7.) Frost the cupcakes using a knife or spatula. Try to let the frosting warm up a bit if you've been keeping it in the fridge, as some frostings are more difficult to work with when cold.
8.) Place each cupcake back into the muffin tin, or place in a serving dish with sides. Carry the muffin tin or serving dish very carefully; these cupcakes will be top heavy and have a tendency to topple.
9.) Serve and enjoy!

Hope you guys liked it! PM us maybe? :)

How To Make A Pumpkin Spice Latte

6 months ago - 406 views
How To Make A Pumpkin Spice Latte
Pumpkin Spice Latte:

Makes 1 to 2 servings
2 cups milk
2 tablespoons canned pumpkin OR 1 teaspoon Pumpkin Spice Syrup (your choice)
1 to 2 tablespoons sugar or sugar substitute
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, plus more to garnish
1 to 2 shots espresso, about 1/4 cup of espresso or 1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee
Whipped cream, to garnish

In a saucepan whisk together milk, pumpkin and sugar and cook on medium heat, stirring, until steaming. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and spice, transfer to a blender and process for 15 seconds until foamy. If you don't have a blender, don't worry about it — just whisk the mixture really well with a wire whisk.

Pour into a large mug or two mugs. Add the espresso on top.

Top with whipped cream, if desired, and sprinkle pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg, or cinnamon on top.

HTW: beanies

HTW: beanies
1.) For this outfit all you need is a cute single colored tee and pair it with some comfortable jeans and some cute sneakers. It gives off that I’m not trying too hard but I’m still cute vibe. The pattern in the beanie gives this outfit enough texture to make it cute.
2.) This one is more formal, chose a cute dress and a single colored jacket. Since this look is a little simple I added the shoes with the spikes, which gives it a little bit of edge and brings the whole outfit together. The beanie makes this look very put together and sophisticated.
3.) A colorful tank or bustier with leather make you look girly yet dangerous, and guys love that. The boots just bring the whole outfit together by bringing in a little more leather but not enough to overload the outfit. The beanie kinda softens the outfit and makes it more girly.
4.) If you’re having a lazy day or just going somewhere real fast this outfit is for you. The leggings are tight enough to show you have a figure and the sweater is loose which gives you more room to breathe. The shoes bring that whole comfy feeling together. The beanie is for warmth or if you’re having a bad hair day.

Hope you liked it! Request us stuff to do. :)
